Completed
primary school education in Rathanasara Maha Vidyalaya , Manampita and
entered to Dharmashoka College, Ambalangoda, for the Secondary school
education after qualifying from the scholarship examination at Grade
5. Sat for the G.C.E(A/L) Examination in 1983 and qualified for
following BSc Engineering Degree in University of Peradeniya. In 1992,
successfully completed the Degree in BSc Engineering(Civil) with second
class honours. Qualified and got membership of Institution of Engineers
,Sri Lanka as Chartered Engineer on 01st of July 2005 ( Membership No:
M4768)
Professional:
Presently
Working as District Engineer in Southern Provincial Road Development
Authority, Sri Lanka since 1st of August 1994. Held responsibilities as
Chief Engineer at State Engineering Corporation, Sri Lanka from
01/06/1992 to 01/07/1994
Other Professional and Social Activities:
Inspecting
and Consulting the Construction Sites. Consulting all kind of
Astrological and Engineering works in housing and building projects as a
Structural Engineer. Formed and conducting a foundation called ‘Dharaka
Ekamuthu Padanama’ to help bright and talented school students who have
financial difficulties to continue their education. The main vision
& mission of above foundation is to protect and develop Buddhist
values, social and cultural ethics of our nation. Also, the above
foundation facilitates with aids to the temples after identifying the
requirement.
